Last month marked a major milestone in our fight to create lasting change in Cambodia with the successful completion of our 270th fresh water well. Access to clean water is a daily and crippling challenge to more than 3 million men, women and children living in rural Cambodia. The COVID-19 pandemic has further impacted the Cambodian people with many now without work and the life-sustaining resources needed to properly care for their families.
Thank you to everyone who has partnered with us financially to help lift a burden from struggling families and provide them with life-sustaining resources.
Like all of our water wells, well #270 ensures that impoverished communities have access to safe drinking water fostering healthy hygiene practices and improving overall health. Our fresh water wells eliminate the need to use streams and ponds often contaminated with water-borne disease as water sources by providing access to clean water for drinking and sanitation.
Founded in 2011, Rock Foundation Cambodia exists to meet the mental, physical, and spiritual needs of the Cambodian people through poverty assistance and community outreach. With the Lord’s help and the continued support of our generous donors, we will continue to provide access to clean, safe, and reliable drinking water to the poorest of the poor in Cambodia.
