Each year, Rock Foundation Cambodia provides life-saving medical care and resources to thousands of Cambodians. In July, we imported our eighth container of donated medical supplies from Gateway Medical, a Seattle-based charity in the U.S. Valued at $392,512, this medical container shipment will help families in five different provinces throughout Cambodia.
Rock Foundation Cambodia is also working to meet the increasing need for medical equipment due to COVID-19. This shipment delivered critical medical resources for healthcare workers responding to the pandemic from the front lines.
Our goal is to improve access to essential medical care in poor, rural Cambodian areas, enabling people to live longer, healthier lives.
The infant mortality rate in Cambodia is higher compared to any other country in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) which encompasses 10 countries in Southeast Asia. An estimated 1 in 3 children under the age of five suffer from growth stunting due to malnutrition.
The shipping cost for one container is $4,500. You be a part of this effort to improve the health and quality of life for the Cambodian people by donating towards this effort today.
