Our Ministry Surpasses 300 Wells Built in Cambodia

This December, Rock Foundation Cambodia (RFC) built water well #302 to provide clean, fresh water to a poor, rural Cambodian village.  With villages often relying on rainwater for drinking and sanitation, these wells are an important, life-sustaining source of hope for Cambodian men women and children. Each well is built in the name of Jesus and has been effective in reducing disease and improving overall quality of life.

Since we began our work in 2011, Rock Foundation Cambodia has helped over 50,000 Cambodians receive access to clean, fresh water. With only 18% of the country’s rural population having access to clean water, our wells provide safe drinking water and eliminate the need for Cambodians to use streams and ponds that are often contaminated with water-borne diseases. These wells also help improve basic hygiene among the villagers which is particularly important to help to stop the spread of COVID-19.

In the past two months alone, we’ve built nearly fifteen wells and plan to build 75 more wells in the new year.

With the Lord’s guidance and your support, we will continue to care for the poorest of the poor. Please prayerfully consider partnering with us to continue creating lasting change in Cambodia.
