2022 Goals: Serving a Record Number of Cambodians

Here at Rock Foundation Cambodia, we are humbled to reflect on the work God has done through our ministry in 2021. As we look ahead to the new year, we have three specific goals we’ll be working toward as we serve some of the most impoverished communities in the country.

Goal #1: 160 Water Wells

We drill wells in the name of Jesus. Only 18% of Cambodia’s total rural population has access to clean water and sanitation facilities, which has become increasingly important in the wake of the pandemic.

In 2021 we drilled 100 wells, and in 2022 we are blessed to have three crews operating at the same time, in contrast to a single crew last year. With our expanded workforce, we anticipate a 63% increase in production, which translates to 160 wells drilled!

Goal #2: Six Medical Container Shipments

We provide essential medical supplies and equipment to thousands of Cambodian men, women and children. This year we hope to send six shipments of these life-saving resources, each valued at $4 million. Like so many other rising costs attributed to COVID-19, shipping costs have increased from $3,500 to $4,300 per shipment.

Goal #3: Emphasis on Food Distribution

We’ve provided thousands of pounds of rice, noodles and fish to the poorest of the poor in some of Cambodia’s hardest-to-reach places. Many have lost their jobs due to the pandemic, which means food distribution is needed now more than ever.

In 2022, we hope to distribute 77,000 pounds of rice in an effort to meet the most basic needs of the rural communities we serve.

We’re believing God for big things in 2022, but we’ll need your help to make these goals a reality. Please consider giving to Rock Foundation Cambodia, and partner with us to spread hope and fight extreme poverty.
