As we travel within some of the poorest areas of Cambodia to drill wells providing clean water for schools, we have the incredible opportunity to meet and minister to many teachers, students and their families. We are only a few months into 2024 and have already shared the good news of the gospel with more than 1,500 rural students, including Buddhist monks. Some have never even heard the name of Jesus before!
Among those we’ve ministered to, several have expressed a desire to know more about developing a relationship with Jesus or to accept Him as Lord and Savior. In light of these encounters, we are working to form a discipleship team that can continue ministering to these students and their families.
Please keep us in prayer as we work to reach the Khmer people with the gospel. Pray that God will send us bold, mature Christian staff who can help us to make disciples in this country where less than 1% of the people know Christ. The need is great, but our God is greater!
