Dignity Begins with Clean Water
Imagine not having a safe place to relieve yourself, bathe, or wash your hands. For many families in rural Cambodia, this is their daily reality. Without access to clean water, hygiene suffers, illness spreads and privacy and dignity are stripped away.
When a well is drilled in a village, that changes. Families can bathe in clean water and they can cook and drink safely. The presence of a well often leads to improvements in sanitation, hygiene and overall health.
Fighting Waterborne Illness, One Well at a Time

ntaminated water is a silent killer. It causes diarrhea, cholera, skin diseases and other preventable illnesses, especially in children and the elderly. In remote villages, where medical care is miles away and unaffordable, waterborne illness often means long-term suffering or even death.
By drilling clean water wells, we protect families from these threats. Safe water sources not only improve quality of life, it actually saves lives. Clean water brings health, reduces medical costs and allows people to thrive.
Protecting the Poor and Forgotten
It’s the poorest communities, often in the most rural areas, who suffer the most from a lack of clean water. These families are frequently overlooked and left behind.
We go where others don’t. We are committed to reaching these forgotten corners of the country in places where the need is greatest and hope is the hardest to find. Every well we drill is an act of justice and compassion for the poor.
Opening Doors to Share the Living Water
Water doesn’t just open physical doors, it opens spiritual ones. As we drill wells, communities invite us in. They ask why we’re helping and we have the beautiful opportunity to share about the hope we have in the Living Water, Jesus Christ.
The gospel naturally flows through our work. Because we meet urgent physical needs first, hearts are open to hearing about a God who sees them, cares for them and loves them. Through drilling wells, we’ve even had the unique opportunity to share the gospel in Buddhist temples and to young monks. Every well gives us the opportunity to not only restore health but to introduce people to the eternal hope found in Christ.
