When people think about a ministry like Rock Foundation Cambodia, they often picture the visible impact, such as clean water flowing from a newly drilled well, families receiving food, or communities gathering to hear the gospel.
But behind every well, every meal and every moment of hope is something deeper: People. Faithful, obedient, behind-the-scenes people who make the mission possible.
Our Founder: A Calling That Started It All
At the center of Rock Foundation Cambodia is a simple “yes” to God’s calling.
Over 15 years ago, founder Brett Medlin stepped out in faith with a vision to serve the people of Cambodia, meeting both physical and spiritual needs. Now, with his wife, Sithorn, what began as an act of obedience has grown into a ministry that is bringing clean water, food and the hope of Christ to thousands of Cambodians in need.
The Local Church: The Heart of the Work
On the ground in Cambodia, local pastors and evangelists are the heartbeat of everything we do.
They are the ones:
- Identifying real needs within their communities
- Helping distribute food to families
- Walking alongside people long after a well is drilled
- Sharing the gospel and discipling new believers
They don’t just support the mission. They are the mission in action every single day.
local workers: Work That Restores Dignity
Every well drilled is more than a project completed. It’s an open door for opportunity.
Rock Foundation Cambodia intentionally employs local workers to help drill wells, creating jobs and providing income for families. This not only meets immediate needs but also helps alleviate the cycle of poverty.
At the same time, it creates something even more powerful: A bridge for the gospel to be shared.
Through meaningful work and relationships, lives are being impacted both physically and spiritually.
Our Board: A Foundation of Accountability
Strong ministry requires strong stewardship.
We are supported by a dedicated Board of Directors who provide guidance, accountability and oversight. Their role ensures that the mission remains focused, transparent and faithful to its calling.
This structure matters, not just for organizational health, but for the trust of every person who partners with this work.
Church partners: life-lines in the States
This mission stretches far beyond Cambodia. Our church partners across the United States play a vital role by:
- Sharing the vision
- Praying faithfully
- Giving generously
- Sending support and encouragement
They are an extension of this ministry and proof that the global Church is alive and active.
Donors: The Fuel Behind the Mission
We are extremely grateful for all of the people who make ministry possible in a very tangible way: Those who give.
- From one-time donors
- To families who sponsor entire wells
- To the faithful members of the Drillers’ Circle who give monthly
You are not just supporting a ministry. Your gifts are changing lives!
Because of your generosity:
- Families drink, bathe in, cook with and have access to clean water
- Cast-off communities can eat hot meals they otherwise wouldn’t have
- Entire communities, including Buddhist monasteries, hear the name of Jesus for the first time
Your giving is so much more than a donation— it’s gospel transformation.
YOU: You’re Part of This Story
It’s easy to look at a mission like this and see it as something happening “over there.” But the truth is that this work is only possible because of people like you.
Whether you pray, give, share, or go, you are part of what God is doing through Rock Foundation Cambodia.
