The headlines may have faded, but here on the ground in Cambodia, the crisis at the border is still painfully real. Over the past few weeks, more than 100,000 Khmer people, mostly poor farmers and their families, have been forced to flee their homes along the Thai border. Many escaped with only the clothes on their backs, leaving behind their farms, livestock and everything they had worked for. Now they find themselves crammed into makeshift camps with no steady access to food, clean water, or hygiene supplies.
Our founder and his wife, Brett and Sithorn, have spent the past few months visiting churches and donors, as well as taking time to rest in the United States. During this time, Brett had the opportunity to speak at RockPointe Church in Flower Mound, Texas, where he experienced a powerful full-circle moment.
We are excited to announce that our founder, Brett Medlin, will be in the United States over the next few months and is eager to share his journey with your congregation. Brett’s testimony of redemption and his calling to establish Rock Foundation Cambodia is both inspiring and transformative. Through this ministry, countless lives in Cambodia have been touched by the love of Christ.
