In Cambodia today, nearly 70% of the population is only able to drink, cook and bathe with unsafe, contaminated water. There is still so much to be done and we cannot do it alone. We need you to partner with us in this life-changing mission, providing clean water and introducing communities to the Living Water—Jesus Christ.
It is always a privilege to read about Brett and Sithorn and the incredible work they’re doing through the Rock Foundation in Cambodia. It is incredible what God has done through Brett and Sithorn, allowing them to make such a significant impact in Cambodia—not only among those who are isolated and disadvantaged but also by positively engaging with people in government circles.
By the grace of God, our evangelism efforts in Cambodia have exploded this year! We can hardly keep up with what the Lord is doing. He is calling so many precious people to himself, most of them children.
Rock Foundation Cambodia exists to meet the needs of the most impoverished people in Cambodia by providing clean water, rice, hot meals, medical supplies and the good news of Jesus Christ. We work to be the hands and feet of Jesus by meeting the desperate, physical needs of these precious people and then sharing with them the hope that only comes from the gospel. Since 2011, we have seen much fruit come from our efforts and, by the grace of God, this year has been no exception!
The gospel is on the move in Cambodia! Since the beginning of 2024, 1,775 people have now heard the good news of Jesus Christ for the first time. Our efforts to establish clean water sources and feed the hungry throughout the country have opened doors for us to share Christ with the many, precious Cambodians we encounter.
Recently, in addition to our efforts to provide clean water and bags of rice to the precious people in Cambodia, we have started a hot Food and Fellowship Outreach program to expand our reach and better serve the most vulnerable people in these communities.
As we travel to rural areas in Cambodia and drill wells to provide clean water for schools, we have the incredible opportunity to meet and minister to many teachers, students and their families.
The directors of Youth-Reach recently travelled to Cambodia to serve with RFC. While there, they participated in drilling a well at an elementary school that, up until then, had been using a stagnant pond for all of their water needs including drinking and bathing.
